Having at the time a very small scope of work (mainly based on earthworks - construction of accesses, cable ditches, platforms), the CJR Group became a valuable partner of the "farm to farm" business, increasing its value, with the successive addition to its operational portfolio, of new areas of intervention and, consequently, expanding its responsibility in each contract that was awarded to it, rapidly becoming responsible for the entire construction of a wind farm (foundations, central operations building).
Not many years have passed until the integration of electrical-mechanical areas, thus broadening its range of services. Shortly thereafter, the CJR Group realised that it still had the space and capacity to develop itself even further; noting that there was a shortage of skilled teams for the installation of wind turbines in the wind energy sector. By attracting experienced and skilled professionals in the sector, it decided to further expand its services, and, with its own teams, it reinvented itself to present an organisation to the market that, in addition to offering BoP works, substations and network connections to its clients, it also offers wind turbine installation services, being able to act in the entire value chain of a wind farm construction process.
In 2015, it also decided to invest in the execution of photovoltaic projects, thus, standing out in the national and international market for offering turn-key solutions, ranging from design, engineering projects, civil engineering and electrical works, wind turbine assemblies (or solar panels), testing and commissioning.
With its own teams working in all phases of the project, CJR Renewables, which was founded in 2002, has proved to be a cross-border success, with a solid and sustainable position across all markets.
